Interior
The elegant interior provides generous space for relaxation and is tastefully furnished and well equipped throughout with a five star rating. Living areas comprise: a spacious living room with gas ‘wood burner’, stone floor and French doors; the large well-equipped kitchen/dining-room with a stone floor, French doors and a gas/electric Belling range cooker; a large conservatory overlooking the garden and a utility room housing modern appliances. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with TV and a wet room/W.C.
On the first floor are a further four bedrooms. The three double bedrooms are a bedroom with 4ft double bed, (for 1+1) with en-suite shower room/W.C and two further double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room/W.C. and one with en-suite bathroom/W.C. with over-bath shower. The twin-bedded room has also has an en-suite shower room/W.C. All bedrooms have a TV.

Kingfisher Cottage is surrounded by a neat garden with a patio area, for sitting, and lovely country views.
Local area
The shops, restaurants and ancient inns of Winchcombe market town are only 250 yards from Kingfisher Cottage. A footpath leads across fields from the cottage to the romantic Sudeley Castle, home of Henry VIII’s last wife, Katherine Parr, who is buried in the castle’s chapel. Adams' farm - from 'Country File' is nearby plus Cotswold Wildlife Park. Other activities include Blenhiem Palace, Warwickshire Steam Railway, village 'open gardens and the Forest of Dean for walks/bike hire/barbecues.
This vacation rental property is an ideal base for walkers, being at the intersection of many well known walks including the Cotswold Way, the Gloucestershire Way and the Wardens Way. Cheltenham, with its racecourse and award winning parks and gardens, is 7 miles away. Each year it hosts literature, science and jazz festivals. The beautiful village of Broadway is also just 7 miles distant with shops, art galleries, fine restaurants and Broadway Tower, with its colourful history, well worth visiting. Also close by are medieval Tewkesbury, the Shakespearean town of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, the university city of Oxford and Gloucester Cathedral - film location for 'Harry Potter'.
