Trewan Farm is centrally located between the north and south Cornish coasts where a range of lovely sandy beaches are ideal for families with good surfing beaches at Newquay and Watergate Bay. Newquay airport is close by.

Trewan Farm is within easy reach of Padstow, renowned for Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant, St Austell and many other local attractions including coastal path walks from Newquay to Padstow. The Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow and Bodmin is nearby with bicycles available for hire.

Other attractions include golf courses, horse riding and go-karting. Nearby surfing facilities include the Extreme Academy at Watergate Bay where visitors can experience surfing and kite surfing followed by a meal at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Restaurant.

Other places of interest to visit include the Tate Gallery and Hepworth Museum at St Ives and the Maritime Museum at Falmouth.

Padstow
Padstow is a fine example of a Cornish-fishing port. The town is largely unspoilt, with a beautiful harbour. There are good shopping facilities, a cinema, cafes restaurants and friendly public houses, most of them serving pub food and 'real ale'.

Around the harbour you will find craft and gift shops, artists' studios, book- shops, grocers, newsagents, leather workshops, a home-made fudge shop and much more.

The area is one of considerable natural beauty with beautiful bays, golden beaches and many interesting walks, particularly along the Coastal Footpath.

Port Isaac
Enjoy a visit to Port Isaac, an accessible haven - in both senses of the word and a rare find in the bustle and stress of our modern world! Hidden in a fold among the steep cliffs and a well-kept secret among its devotees, the village has been welcoming tourists for years but has stubbornly refused to change and still retains its old Cornish character.

The narrow lanes with whitewashed stone cottages wind down to the harbour - the centre of the village and a peaceful spot to while away the time and watch the world go by - but when the fishing boats come in and the catch is landed, this is a hive of activity.

Walking
This area is an ideal location for keen walkers. The Camel Trail provides easy walking for young and old, with beautiful countryside all around it and the Trail being flat. For the more adventurous, Bodmin Moor is only 15 miles away and has many places of interest along with some challenging walking areas. Wadebridge is also on the famous Saints Way, a 16 mile cross country path, forged in ancient times by Celtic Saints between Padstow and Fowey. There are also spectacular coastal walks within a few miles of St Mabyn.
