The cottage is arranged over three floors. On the ground floor a large covered entrance porch, ideal for sitting outside with a cup of tea even on a showery day, leads into the large kitchen diner, where a wood burning stove, comfy sofa and slate floors make a character setting for communal dining. The well equipped kitchen area contains a ceramic hob with oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine, a suspended drying maiden and a Belfast sink.
On the first floor is the lounge, featuring an open fire, with LCD TV (including Sky Plus), DVD and a games console, comfortable sofas, and a bedroom with bunk beds. On the top floor is the recently refurbished bathroom with bath and shower over and 2 further bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom contains a double bed. The cottage is warm and cosy, for winter breaks, with central heating served by the woodburner in the kitchen in addition to the open fire in the lounge. All electricity, logs, bedlinen, towels and tea towels are included in the rental. Please note that due to high fuel costs there will be a winter heating settlement, between 1st Novenber 2008 and 1st April 2009 of £20 per week or £10 per weekend. A cot and highchair can be provided if required. Pets welcome for a small additional charge. |
