Park Mill Farm is dedicated to a traditional way of life, but with all the trappings of modern day comforts offering a slice of country living where the good things matter: peace, relaxation, beauty and slow-growing, fantastic food!
Interior
The Cow Shed has been transformed into a luxury holiday let for two in relaxing surroundings perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. This light and airy studio apartment offers a double bed, a fully functional kitchen with island, eating area and leather sofa.
The kitchen is equipped with a five ring gas range with two electric fan ovens, dishwasher, fridge with compartmental freezer and ample storage. The Cow Shed has huge double doors which fold right back leading onto an amazing patio. The separate bathroom contains a large corner shower, sink and loo.
Other Services offered as optional extras include: homemade meals to heat up at your convenience; Bed Turndown service; a taxi service – to anywhere in the local area; and shooting lessons/activities.
It is the perfect place to spend a long weekend. Quiet, relaxing, romantic and beautiful! What more could you ask for?!
Outside
The Patio, with a barbeque, wood fired pizza oven and ample room for a table and chairs, looks over the front orchard and is not overlooked by anyone. Here you will find geese honking, chickens clucking and pigs oinking!
There is a little babbling brook with its constant chatter of life on the water and the beautiful old farmhouse, slightly lopsided from the generations of families brought up here and from its life as a mill before that.
Area
Local facilities include the village shop and pub within 5 minutes walk. The outdoor swimming pool at nearby Wotton Under Edge is open in the summertime. Two golf courses are within 5 miles.
A choice of lovely walks walks around the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty may be taken straight from the farm without going on any roads.
Local Places and Events of Interest within 30 minutes of travel include The Badminton Horse Trials, Dyrham Park, Newark Park, Westonbirt Arboretum, the great city of Bristol, historic Bath, the lovely towns of Cheltenham and Gloucester, the Cheltenham Races and the antique mecca of Tetbury.
The Cow Shed is also within easy reach of the Cotswolds, Slimbridge Wetland Centre and the shoppers paradise of Cribbs Causeway.
