These attractive four star Cornish holiday cottages are highly recommended and open all year. Short breaks, out of season, and late availability often available – just check with the owners. The cottages sleep 2-5 and welcome pets, but no smoking is permitted indoors.
Maintained to a high specification all offer an excellent level of comfort and cleanliness. All include bedding, central heating, Wi-Fi, Colour TV, DVD player, video, CD/radio, and comprehensively furnished kitchens. Towels can be provided on request (at extra charge). Cots, stair gates and high chairs are available on request. Prices inclusive of heating and electricity.
The Lodge Sleeps 2 + cot or Z bed £195-460
This bright spacious open plan studio cottage for couples has plenty of room for an additional Z bed or cot. The fully equipped kitchen includes a 4 ring hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven and automatic washer/dryer. The separate bathroom includes a bath with shower over.
Outside is a private patio seating area.
The Stables Sleeps 4/5 + cot in 2 bedrooms £295-780
This charming cottage derives its character from its high vaulted beamed ceilings. From the first floor galleried double bedroom guests can enjoys views across the surrounding fields.
Downstairs the cosy lounge/dining room includes a wood burning stove in addition to central heating and is fully equipped with Freeview TV, DVD/video CD/radio and WIFI.
In the second bedroom 3 single beds, have the option of converting to a double bed and a single. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for self catering and includes a washer/dryer, while the bathroom contains a bath/shower and WC.
Barn Cottage Sleep 2 in one bedroom £210-490
Owl Cottage Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms £260-750
These two adjoining cosy, traditional cottages boast oak beams, slate window sills and stone fireplaces.
Barn Cottage has a double bedroom with adjoining bath/shower room with WC.
Owl Cottage has one double and one twin bedroom with bath/shower room and WC.
Both holiday cottages have lounge/dining areas and are well specified with Freeview TV, DVD/ video recorder, CD/radio & WIFI. With fully equipped kitchens including microwave & washer/dryer both are centrally heated.
Take advantage of the late afternoon sun by relaxing on the patios outside.
The Coach House Sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom + cot or Z bed £215-500
This single storey self catering cottage is light, bright and spacious enjoying uninterrupted views over open countryside.
The accommodation all on one level comprises one double bedroom with adjoining bathroom, a lounge/dining area and well-equipped kitchen. It is centrally heated and WI-FI is available. The well equipped kitchen includes a 4 ring hob and oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washer/dryer.
Guests have shared use of the communal gardens and pastureland plus a private seating area with picnic table.
Outside
There is ample off road parking, BBQ and picnic areas. Situated in spacious communal gardens with lawned areas there is additional open space to the rear of the main house where a further two and a half acres of pastureland may be enjoyed by all.
Local area
South Cornwall’s delightful unspoilt countryside is on the doorstep with easy access to the coast and beaches at Looe and Polperro within 3 miles, and Lansallos and the pretty, quiet Talland Bay (4 miles). Pelynt village, one mile away offers shops, a pub, churches and a doctor’s surgery.
Nearby National Trust properties include Lanhydrock, and Antony House – an early 18th century mansion set in parkland and fine landscaped gardens – used as the setting for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland film. The Eden Project is only twenty minutes away plus a host of other attractions, pretty villages and the coastal path.
A wide selection of local activities nearby includes sailing, fishing, diving, golf, cycling, and horse riding.
