St. Magdalene's cottage is a recently renovated and refurbished holiday cottage set in a rural location 1.5 miles from Cheltenham Racecourse. In half an acre of grounds with lovely views over a natural wildlife pond to the front and secluded lawn to the rear, it is both a cosy and elegant retreat. |

Dating back to circa 1700, St. Magdalene's cottage has beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a rural idyll whilst being close to Cheltenham town centre and the racecourse. Renovated and refurbished in 2006, the cottage has been restored to a high standard including a newly fitted kitchen, cloakroom and bathroom. Travertine and tumbled marble flooring and wall tiles have been used to create a stylish yet comfortable finish; quality soft furnishings and an eclectic mix of antique and new furniture complete the ambience. The lovely sitting/dining room benefits from a wood burning stove, comfy sofas and soft lighting. French windows open out onto a south facing garden overlooking roses and a peaceful lawn, offering a restful place to sit or dine. A high standard of interior design and facilities is provided throughout. The double bedroom makes this cottage ideal for couples but a 2nd single bedroom can be made available on request. |

Attached to the owners’ farmhouse, St. Magdalene's cottage is accessed via electric gates and offers parking space for 2 -3 cars. The owner's heated swimming pool is available for guests’ use from April to September, Monday to Thursday and at weekends by arrangement. |

The cottage is situated only 2.5 miles from the heart of Cheltenham, a centre for the Cotswolds, and only 1.5 miles from the Racecourse. Each year Cheltenham attracts visitors from far and wide who enjoy its stylish shopping, colourful parks, floral displays, horseracing, festivals and special events. Science, jazz, literature and folk festivals are an annual event and Cheltenham Racecourse is the home of National Hunt Racing. Places of interest
There are plenty of places to visit including the Cheltenham Art
Gallery and Museum, the Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection, historical Blenheim
Palace, at Woodstock and Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe, which is steeped
in history and was once the home to Queen Katherine Parr. Treat the
whole family to a unique experience at Cotswolds Farm Park, Guiting
Power and the Cotswold Wildlife Park at Burford, which offers
something for the children and the garden enthusiasts as the 120 acres
landscaped parkland and gardens is spectacular.
