Completely updated, to provide quality accommodation with attention to detail this self catering holiday home has only been available for Suffolk holiday lets since May 2010. In the heart of this attractive, rural county Rose Cottage makes an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk countryside and Suffolk Heritage Coast.
At the heart of a thriving village community and with rolling countryside on the doorstep Rose Cottage is great for escaping the pressures of city living.
This beautifully decorated, family friendly 16th Century cottage comfortably sleeps four and is designed for year-round holidays with a lovely garden to enjoy on warm days and central heating and a wood burning stove for cooler months.
The comfortable beamed sitting room features an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove, leather settee, Freeview TV/DVD and an I-Pod dock with radio.
A separate dining room, also with fireplace, has an oak table and chairs, Freeview television/DVD and Playstation 2.
The fully equipped kitchen contains a dishwasher, washer/drier, full oven, hob and microwave.
The part-tiled ground floor bathroom houses a bath with a rainfall shower over with glass screen, basin and WC.
Upstairs the pretty double bedroom has a king size, iron frame bed and flat screen Freeview television/DVD. The two other bedrooms are both single rooms.
Sorry, no pets allowed. The cottage has a strict NO SMOKING policy.
Outside
The cottage has a pretty sunny garden with 2 sets of garden furniture, patio, barbeque and lawn.
Area
Debenham dates back to the 12th century and many examples of early medieval buildings still occupy its attractive high street. There are two pubs within the village and a range of wonderful shops, supplying local produce. Dining out is easy with a wide range of options including a Fish and Chip Shop, Carters Teapot Pottery Cafe, The Garden of Deben Florists and Cafe, Zeera's Indian Takeaway and the Vanilla Bakehouse Cafe.
Other amenities include a Children's Playground, Debenham Leisure Centre with gymnasium, badminton and squash courts, a flint and brick Church and a Library.
Debenham is within easy reach of the Suffolk Heritage coast, including the fashionable seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold.
The impressive 12th century castle at Framlingham, is just a 25 minute drive from the cottage.
