Moray Farm is set 800 feet above sea level in a peaceful and totally rural location, with glorious views, surrounded on all sides by fields, half a mile from the nearest road. Visitors can escape from the noise of modern life. One mile away is Dufftown, where you will find everything you need; from pubs, hotels and restaurants; a great butcher, bakery, and shops to a petrol station, garage and hospital.... not to mention 7 distilleries including the world famous Glenfiddich Distillery. Moray Cottages lie at the heart of Scotland’s Whisky Trail, approximately halfway between Aberdeen & Inverness and make an ideal holiday base from which to enjoy the host of activities and attractions that abound in Scotland’s North East. Huntly, Elgin, Keith, Grantown on Spey and Aberlour are all close by. From the Cairngorm National Park to the golden beaches and rocky cliff paths of the Moray Coast, there is golfing and fishing, castles and distilleries, not to mention fabulous walking, winter skiing, and outstanding wildlife including seal and dolphin watching nearby. |
