| Moorings is a recently re-furbished, comfortable, spacious three bedroom self catering house centrally located in Rock village, walking distance to the beach and shops. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard, being the owners’ personal holiday home. | ||

The large welcoming hall with wooden floor and stairs leads to a large dining room with wood burning stove and on to a sunny sitting room, accessed through double doors. This room has a sofa-bed to provide additional sleeping space for another two guests, if required, colour TV, video, DVD and radio/CD players. It looks out over the mature garden and private lawn with double doors opening from both this room and the dining room onto an area of decking and into the garden. The light airy kitchen is very well equipped and has wooden floors. Beyond this is a big utility room and extra ground floor bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Upstairs are three bedrooms: one king-size double with wardrobe and drawers, one large twin room also with wardrobe and drawers and one bunk room with chunky 3' pine bunks and chest of drawers. The bathroom has a bath with shower, sink and airing cupboard and there is a separate toilet. |

The large secure garden has a sun-trap decking area ideal for summer evening barbecues which steps down to the level lawn and borders with mature trees and shrubs offering total privacy. There is off-road parking for up to three cars and space for a boat, if needed. A garage houses the modern bikes which are provided for your enjoyment, and offers further storage space for beach or surfing gear. The house enjoys immediate access to Rock Bakery, Rock Butcher's and all other shop amenities within one minute's walk, including the best fish and chips in the area. Nearby the excellent huge sandy beaches of Rock and Daymer Bay are ideal for sailing, wind surfing, waterskiing, surfing, or just lazing about. |

| Exploring the popular town of Padstow is easy and it only takes a few
minutes by a short ferry crossing. The Camel Trail is a delight to
cycle and opens up the views of the Camel estuary at their best.
Polzeath is less than 2 miles from Moorings and provides the surfing culture and lifestyle that brings people back year after year to enjoy the sport and its laid back atmosphere. The house is a short drive from the excellent St Mellion golf course and also The Eden Project. Moorings is
available all year round and has oil-fired heating for those cooler
winter breaks. The peace and tranquillity of the area should not be
underestimated and yet all the facilities for a great British summer
holiday are on your doorstep. |
