Welcome to Hafod Villa, a delightful, sunny cottage in a wonderfully secluded setting. Located 70m down it's own private drive and set behind a small woodland the cottage is barely visible from the road during summer months. With a huge private garden of over half an acre Hafod Villa is very safe for children (who love the swings and trampoline) and ideal for dogs. This traditional cottage is very comfortable and homely, making it perfect for family holidays and self catering breaks.
The bright interior has plenty of living space comprising a spacious open plan kitchen/dining room, a cosy sitting room with log burner stove and a 32 inch HD TV and a large conservatory. In addition there is a twin bedded downstairs bedroom with internet access.
Upstairs is a four poster bedroom, family bathroom and a twin bedded room with pretty garden views Outside Hafod Villa benefits from a huge private, secluded garden mainly laid to lawn, with swings and a trampoline an a BBQ area. There is a 70m private drive with parking for up to 3 cars.
Local area
With the seaside at Ceibwr Bay just over a mile away Hafod Villa is also equidistant (approximately 3miles) from two fabulous sandy beaches: Poppit Sands and Newport Beach. It is midway between the bustling market town of Cardigan with it's variety of shops, restaurants, theatre and bars and the picturesque estuary village of Newport with art galleries, pubs and shops, both 5 miles.
With numerous local attractions and activities including horse riding, golf, walking, coasteering, boating, fishing, etc. Attractions include art galleries, craft trails, outdoor and indoor theatre productions. Of historical interest are the nearby stone-age fort of Castel Henllys, Pentre Ifan ancient burial chamber, Kilgerran and Cardigan Castles and St. Dogmaels Abbey.
For nature-lovers the nearby cliffs and coves harbour a huge variety of rare and delightful wildlife, with seals, porpoises, dolphins, basking sharks and even whales and turtles seen from cliffs locally. A multitude of sea/estuary birds are to be spotted locally. The rare red kite is often seen circling above Hafod Villa as well as numerous badgers, foxes and rabbits scampering about.
Ideal for touring the three counties of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion (Cardiganshire) and Carmarthenshire there are so many nice little restaurants and tea rooms to stop off and sample.
There is so much to do and see that it may be a good idea to just sit and relax with a good book in the garden or conservatory.
