On the ground floor the large kitchen/breakfast room has a range of oak fitted units and an extensive range of appliances - including washer dryer, fridge, oven and hob, and an oak table seating four. The conservatory features a large oak refectory dining table, seating six, surrounded by exposed stone and timber, overlooking the south-facing garden. The conservatory also contains a freezer. The ground floor cloakroom provides a W.C. and wash hand basin.
The lounge has a delightful stone fireplace with timber lintel, a Cotswold stone canopy and leather sofas surrounded by oak furniture. There is a TV with video and DVD and a music system.
The first floor comprises a dual aspect double bedroom containing a range of traditional oak furniture with an ensuite shower room and a twin bedroom with an ensuite shower room.
A further twin bedroom is on the second floor and features a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and stone mullion windows. There is a family bathroom with modern sanitary ware set around beams and stone.
Gas fire, central heating, telephone and house linen are provided. All heating is included in the rental. Dogs are accepted for an additional charge.
Outside
The small south facing garden, beautifully planted and not overlooked, contains Cotswold stone walls and mature flower beds. There is also a detached garage, and off street parking for one car.
Cloisters is a lovely Grade II Listed period stone cottage just 100 yards from the main street and river. Fairlie, on the banks of the river, is a delightful cottage boasting a wealth of character and benefiting from generously proportioned rooms.
Rose Tree Cottage boasts a huge inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, a flat screen TV, DVD and music system, stone mullions, plus a useful ground floor bedroom.
Cloisters and Fairlie both exude charm and boast a wealth of character with stone mullion leaded windows. Both are beautifully furnished and well equipped. Cloisters can sleep six while Fairlie can accommodate eight guests.
All cottages have a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer.

The ground floor comprises a hall with original stone flagstones, kitchen/dining room, sitting room, twin bedroom a shower/cloakroom. The first floor incorporates 3 bedrooms: 2 double and one twin, along with the family bathroom. Period features within the property include stone mullion leaded windows and fireplaces.
The large country kitchen/dining room has a range of fitted units and an extensive range of appliances - including fridge, washer/dryer, oven and hob. The room features a large oak refectory dining table with seating for eight, mullion windows and a feature fireplace with electric fire.
The sitting room overlooks the River Windrush and features a period stone fireplace with electric fire along with designer sofas surrounded by oak furniture. There is also a TV with DVD. The ground floor twin bedroom also enjoys river views and contains a period stone fireplace with electric fire and antique furniture.
Upstairs the two double bedrooms each has a traditional four poster bed, a feature fireplace, views of the river, a range of traditional oak furniture and a television. The twin bedroom features a Victorian fireplace and stone mullion windows along with fitted wardrobes. The family bathroom contains a shower, bath and modern sanitary ware.
Central heating, telephone and house linen are provided. All heating is included in the price.

A courtyard garden is surrounded by Cotswold stone walls. There is a detached garage and off street parking for one/two cars.

This charming Grade 11 Listed detached period stone cottage nestles in the Heart of Lower Slaughter looking over the old mill, and only 50 yards from the River Eye -an idyllic Cotswold location.
Quaint and full of character Rose Tree Cottage has a huge inglenook fireplace, stone mullions and Cotswold stone floors on the ground floor. Central heating and the recently refurbished new kitchen, bathroom and en-suite shower room add to its charm.
The lounge/dining room has an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, a leather corner sofa and Laura Ashley chairs, oak furniture, a flat screen TV, DVD and music system. The oak dining table seats 6. Leading from the dining area is one of the two twin bedded rooms, with a small gothic wardrobe and separate cupboard.
The fitted kitchen has wooden work tops, glass cabinets and a butler sink with an extensive range of appliances.
The downstairs bathroom, by the lobby, contains a full size bath, high level toilet and basin with a shower over the bath.
Upstairs, there is a comfortable double bedroom with oak furniture and an en-suite with a large corner shower tiled with Cotswold stone mosaic tiles, basin and toilet.
On the other side of the landing is the second twin bedroom with oak furniture.
The decoration throughout is modern in style but the furniture itself is period design to give the cottage that authentic feel.
Well behaved Dogs are accepted at an additional cost of £25 per pet, per week.

The front garden is enclosed by dry stone walls and hedges and overlooks the old mill.

Situated in the Heart of the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water is an ideal location for exploring the area. With the M4, M5 and M40 in close proximity, it is easily accessible from all parts of the country. Birmingham International Airport - 40 miles.
The village was recently voted one of the prettiest in England on the strength of the beautiful old world Cotswold houses and the village green, traversed by six picturesque bridges which span the River Windrush. A good choice of restaurants and pubs nearby include some within a minute’s walk of each cottage.
The architecture in Bourton-on-the-Water is unique to the area, and one can see an abundance of stone mullion windows, stone tiles roves, gables and honey coloured limestone walls. The village itself is steeped in history with its origins traced back to pre-Roman times.
There is also a wide and varied choice of visitor attractions in Bourton-on-the-Water: Birdland Park and Gardens, The Model Village, Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection, Cotswold Perfumery, The Dragonfly Maze, Fundays Play Barn, Bourton Model Railway, Cotswold Pottery and Cotswold Farm Park.
