In sympathetically renovated 13th century farm buildings these North Devon holiday cottages, on the outskirts of Buckland Brewer near Bideford, enjoy lovely country views towards Dartmoor.

Each of the five individual cottages has a unique character with much of the original timber and stonework retained. The cottages sleep 18, 9, 5, 2 and 2.

Pets are welcome but no smoking is permitted in the Spa or cottages.

All the cottages are comprehensively equipped with modern appliances including colour TV, Free-view, DVD player and radio/cassette/CD player. The kitchens are equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, microwave oven, washing machine, tumble dryer and a dishwasher (in all except Owls' Hollow).

Haywain Barn is a spacious cottage, beamed throughout, with an Infrared sauna, dedicated six person Hot Tub, patio and a large garden.

This luxury six bedroom barn commands an elevated, south facing position overlooking the grounds and surrounding countryside. It offers spacious accommodation with high vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glazing upstairs providing plenty of natural light.

The two lounges - one upstairs and one downstairs - both contain a wood burning stove, TV with free-view and a DVD player.

Patio doors lead into the garden from the spacious beamed dining room. The kitchen is built on the original roundhouse and is equipped with conventional electric oven and gas /electric hobs, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer, microwave, French doors and exposed brick walls. A walk-in pantry houses an additional fridge freezer and the utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier.

The ground floor double bedroom contains a 6ft zip and link bed plus sofa bed. Separate toilet.

A wide, sweeping staircase leads to the First Floor:
The galleried sitting-room has full length windows giving an amazing view over the countryside to Dartmoor.

The Master Bedroom in Round House has a 6ft zip link bed with 2 additional single beds if required, walk-in dressing room, en-suite bathroom with corner bath, shower attachment plus a separate shower cubicle, bidet, toilet and wash basin.

Four further bedrooms, each have 6ft zip and link beds, two with an additional single bed (each for +1). One of the bedrooms also has a two-person infra-red sauna.

Guests staying in the cottages have access to the SPA complex with no additional costs. A full range of complementary and beauty treatments are also available.

The Spa complex has been sympathetically designed to complement the other buildings on the estate and is equipped with a state of the art (glass vacuum tube) solar and heat recovery, ventilation and filtration system to provide a comfortable temperature and a humidity controlled environment.

The SPA building houses two changing rooms (each fitted with shower, toilet, wash basin, mirror and hair-dryer) a heated indoor swimming pool, a hydrotherapy SPA, sauna, relaxation room, gym and two treatment rooms.
