General Information
Open all year these Bala self catering cottages offer short breaks throughout the year and great last minute offers. Wi-Fi is available in each cottage for £10 per stay. No extra charge is made for use of Hot Tub. All four and five star cottages are child friendly and non-smoking but, sorry, no pets allowed.
Child minding service available. Complimentary welcome food and drinks. Fluffy white bathrobes, slippers and towels provided.
The owners Gareth and Sioned live in the farmhouse, close to the cottages, and are happy to help and advise when needed. They welcome you personally on arrival and give you a guided tour of your holiday cottage.
As this is a new small family business the owners really care about making your holiday perfect in every way and hope you will find it hard to stay away after you’ve discovered Bythynnod Bryn Caled Cottages!

The glorious countryside of the Snowdonia National Park North Wales attracts visitors throughout the year to its challenging peaks, pretty lakes, picture perfect scenery and sandy beaches. Thesae Bala holiday cottages are well positioned for visiting Bala Lake - a 10 minute drive, Dolgellau, the Gwdyr Forest Park, Blaenau Ffestiniog and many more beauty spots. Visit Chester, Porthmadog, Ruthin and Betws-y-Coed.
Local attractions abound including activity courses, historic sites, castles, sailing, glass blowing, fishing, zoos and sites associated with Wales' industrial past - coal and copper mines and slate works.

Carreg y Nant is cosy, warm and welcoming - an ideal luxury romantic retreat for couples wishing to holiday in the mountains of Snowdonia and escape the pressures of modern living. It also offers accommodation for families and is suitable for two couples.
This Snowdonia cottage has an outdoor Jacuzzi/Hot Tub, baby cots available, central heating, Freeview TV, DVD, private garden, BBQ and Internet Access.
The large ground floor open-plan, living area has 2 sets of patio doors opening to the private garden, a dining table seating 6, a very relaxing.seating area with leather sofas and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. There is a small wash room in the hall with a W.C. and basin.
The bedrooms are on the 1st floor: an en-suite double bedroom and an en-suite twin bedroom. Each bathroom has a shower, W.C. and a basin. Large Velux windows make the bathrooms very light and fresh.
The private hot-tub is located in the garden on the patio overlooking the fields and the old oak trees. A small unfenced brook runs through the garden.

Tyddyn Lliw is a charming stone and timber cottage with breathtaking views across horse paddocks to the Aran Mountain.
Tyddyn Lliw is an upside down cottage to take full advantage of the stunning scenery of North Wales. It is centrally heated and cosy year round, with a stairgate at the top of the stairs in the living room.
The first floor enjoys wonderful open views. Here the large open-plan kitchen and living area have Velux roof windows which flood the room with soft mountain light to give a fresh airy feel. Double patio doors open onto a small veranda with breathtaking views over the horse paddock to the Aran Mountain.
The fully equipped, modern fitted kitchen houses a dish washer & washer/dryer. The living room offers leather furniture, a TV and DVD and there is also a wash room.
On the ground floor the two bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin are stylish and comfortable. Both have en-suite facilities with a shower over bath, W.C. and wash basin.
The private hot tub is located out side under the trees in the garden. There is also a BBQ.

This converted 18th century Welsh stone-built long barn is fabulous for families - with children welcome - and makes a luxurious romantic getaway for couples.
It features an outdoor Jacuzzi/Hot Tub, private garden with BBQ and internet access.
With a high, vaulted ceiling the open-plan living area comprises a dining area seating 8, a comfortable sitting area with leather sofas, Freeview TV and DVD and a fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washer-dryer. Fantastic efficient under-floor central heating makes this Snowdonia holiday cottage ideal for year round holidays.
Also on the ground floor is a king-size double bedroom with en-suite bathroom containing a bath with shower over, basin and WC, and an additional ground floor WC/basin.
Three steps lead down to the sun lounge where French doors open to a decked area with hot tub and wonderful mountain views.
The two first floor bedrooms comprise a galleried king-size double and a family room with 3 single divan beds converting to a large double bed and 1 single bed (please inform the owner of your preference prior to arrival).
These share separate access to the en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, basin and WC.
