are two charming old stone and slate cottages, situated separately, in
quiet streets on the edge of Cader Idris mountain. Both are within the
town, just two minutes walk from good local amenities with a wealth of
indoor and outdoor activities nearby. |

cottages both retain their character and charm and are fully equipped,
benefiting from modern kitchens, heating systems, showers and baths.
They are thoughtfully decorated in cosy country style with wood
burning stoves and comfortable furnishings. Both offer secure storage

Dolwar Cottage |

Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms Dolwar Cottage, formerly a forge with the original barn door for the horses, retains many of its Georgian features and is the larger of the two. It sleeps six in two double bedrooms and a bunk room, with two full size bunk beds. There is a fully equipped fitted kitchen, cosy beamed sitting room and dining room. Gas central heating, electricity and bedding are all included in the rental. Outside there is off road parking for several cars and a small garden with a barbecue area. |

Hafod Cottage |

Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms Hafod Cottage, the smaller cottage, is situated at the the edge of town but within walking distance of the town centre. It has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, dining room with TV and video, cosy lounge, well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. This too has a courtyard garden with barbecue. |

Bakery Cottages are ideally placed for enjoying the many attractions of this wonderful rural area and for the facilities of the town. A day spent energetically in the mountains can be concluded by a pleasant stroll to a nearby pub or restaurant or an evening barbecue. Within walking distance are the beautiful Mawddach estuary and Cader Idris.
For
the energetic there is a host of local activities including horse
riding, golf, canoeing, the Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking Centre,
climbing, walking and sailing. For more sedate pastimes an equally
wide choice is available from lovely beaches, craft centres and
museums to wildlife watching and steam railways. |
