    Interior
The comfortable interior would suit self catering couples and families. It comprises a lounge with dining area with distant views of ski slopes; a new kitchen, fitted in 2007, fully equipped and including a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and freezer; a double bedroom; a 2nd bedroom containing a single bed and two adult sized bunk beds; and a heated bathroom with 3 piece suite plus electric shower.

    Electric central heating included.

The owner is confident that this well kitted out, warm and easy-to-live-in cottage will appeal to holiday makers. She already welcomes back many return visitors.

    Outside
The cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. There is a small front garden and fully fenced rear garden with picnic table, barbeque, alpine plants & birds aplenty. Distant views of the mountains.

    Local area
Nearby is a toddlers’ playground. A footpath passing the steam railway of TVs "Glenbogle" brings visitors to the shops, pubs & restaurants of Aviemore in about 7 minutes. (Just 5 minutes by car).

Aviemore is a popular destination for visitors all year round. Especially appealing to winter sports enthusiasts when the snow covers the mountains, it is an excellent base for exploring the wilderness of the Cairngorms National Park, the largest National Park in Britain, and Rothiemurchus Forest.

From here guests can enjoy relaxed walks along forest tracks and rugged hikes. Also good birdwatching (including ospreys), plentiful wildlife, fishing, snow and dry slope skiing, swimming, curling, golfing, clay pigeon shooting and husky sleds.

The famous Whisky Trail can be followed from here with the Cardhu and Glenlivet Distilleries both nearby. Good inexpensive dining is available locally. Other activities include canoeing, dinghy sailing, windsurfing, pony trekking, visiting a reindeer herd, a Wildlife Park, steam train rides and mountain biking with bike hire available. Or just relax!
