Ashcombe Country Cottages offer a wide choice of charming Devon holiday cottages and houses, many with private swimming pools, on a glorious South Devon agricultural estate. All guests have use of an indoor swimming pool and a wealth of onsite facilities. The cottages sleep 2-27 and are situated just 4 miles from the end of the M5 motorway and near South Devon's best beaches. This complex also offers excellent conference facilities and caters for groups, family parties and special occasions. |

Scattered around the estate, some adjacent to each other, these rural holiday cottages have something for everyone, including families with children, couples, the disabled and larger groups. These 4 star self catering holiday cottages, houses and barns are all blessed with spectacular Devonshire views and sunny terraces. Properties include a spectacular barn conversion sleeping 27, 2 elegant Regency houses sleeping 16 combined, a spacious beamed cottage sleeping 15 and several detached cottages of individual character.
The majority of bedrooms contain double or twin beds, some have four poster beds, and all are en-suite, with showers, or baths. All cottages have comfortable lounges, many with leather furniture, with TV and DVD. Most cottages have ancient beams, with oak or pine floors and doors, while the well equipped kitchens have either oak or pine furnishings with Italian tiled floors. There are some disabled rooms with en-suite wetrooms. Virtually every room has a magnificent view over the best of Devon's totally unspoilt countryside. Cots and playpens are provided as are linen and towels as requested. |

All cottages have patios/gardens some with private heated pools.
The
superb indoor heated pool for use by all guests has a
sheltered outdoor sun terrace and excellent changing rooms. Ashcombe has a
children's play area and its own Activity Centre, which
includes quadbike riding and clay shooting. The
games room also has a pool table. A hard tennis court
may be booked, free of charge.
Meeting rooms may be booked (at the Adventure Centre) for celebrations, social events and business meetings with bar & catering available, and Broadband Internet Access. Nearby are many excellent shops, pretty villages and glorious beaches. Nearby Dawlish, Teignmouth and Newton Abbot offer a good range of services. Dartmoor is just 8 miles, as is Torbay along a beautiful coast road. Ashcombe is in the centre of South Devon's top holiday attractions such as Crealy Adventure Park and Pennywell Farm, just around the corner, and is within range of the Eden Project, the cathedral City of Exeter. |
