Hertfordshire Whilst it's location north of London makes it a commuter area, the county has a long history and was popular with the Romans, with its road links going north. Still lots to see for the tourist in this area. The county has some excellent attractions for tourists and residents to visit. It is also an excellent location to explore other parts of England, being just 30 minutes train journey from central London and about a 1 hour drive from Cambridge and Oxford. Hertfordshire is also very nearby to London Heathrow, London Luton and London Stansted airports. Major towns are St Albans, Bishops Stortford and Watford |
