| Platwood Farm Cottage is a luxury self catering holiday cottage (sleeps 6) adjoining the owners traditional farmhouse on a busy working dairy and sheep farm in a perfect setting with beautiful views. The farm is in the grounds of Lyme Park which is a National Trust property made famous as the setting for the recent film version of Pride and Prejudice. Visitors are free to explore the grounds, where there are lovely walks, and view the impressive country house. Lyme Hall is open to the public from Easter to October. | ||

fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer and a convenient breakfast bar.
Cosy lounge where you can relax in front of a traditional wood burning stove, with a colour television, and superb views over rolling countryside. The dining room exudes old world charm and character, with Cheshire brick fireplace and wood burning stove. The master bedroom with its magnificent king size four poster bed, en suite facilities and inviting classic decor is a firm favourite with our guests. A second bright and sunny bedroom with marvellous views can be arranged with either double or twin beds. The third bedroom designed with children in mind has sturdy pine bunk beds and shares the second fully equipped bathroom. |
