The spacious hallway leads to the shower room, with large shower cubicle, WC and washbasin, and the two bedrooms. The double bedroom has a king size bed while the second bedroom contains twin beds, both furnished with pine furniture and attractive bed linen and accessories enjoying wonderful views from the windows. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Hexham Abbey has stood for almost a millenium and the Gaol, built to imprison the 'Border Reivers', was the first in the British Isles, The many castles in Northumberland have seen conflict for hundreds of years between England and Scotland.

Today Hexham is widely regarded as the best place in Britain to live and is a popular base for exploring the outdoors. The Peninne Way through the Northumberland National Park and Hadrian's Wall are a mecca for walkers
