Interior
This beautiful granite terrace cottage exudes character charm and has recently been restored and renovated to luxury standards. In keeping with the style beams and exposed brickwork feature alongside the brand new fully equipped kitchen and designer bathroom.
Enter the cottage through the blue painted front door into an inviting living room and dining room with a working fireplace at each end. A gorgeous little love seat is built-in to the side of the sitting room fireplace.
Go up the stairs from the living room to the nice size master bedroom with double bed and the second bedroom with twin beds. All beds are made up using crisp white linen
Downstairs again a small hall leads from the living room to the newly fitted kitchen and stunning bathroom.
Modern and streamlined but with a country feel, the kitchen, with views to the garden, provides everything needed for a self catering holiday including a microwave and washing machine.
The stunning bathroom has polished black granite surfaces, a bath, separate shower, wash hand basin and WC. The back door leads into the gorgeous and unexpectedly very large and secluded garden.
Guests at Banjo Cottage will find a luxury hamper on arrival. Beautiful local art work is displayed throughout the cottage. An I-pod connection is also available.
Well behaved dogs are allowed at an extra charge.

Discover the delightful secret garden. This gorgeous, surprisingly large and secluded garden boasts two areas for dining al fresco!
This St Just holiday cottage also benefits from being adjacent to the well known, Cook Book Café which serves, breakfasts, lunches, coffees, teas and cakes, as well as offering a very wide and varied collection of books for sale.
Although there is no private parking there is never a problem parking on the street outside.
Area
Banjo Cottage St Just in Penwith is in the heart of this most westerly town in Cornwall - the closest to Lands End, near the north Cornish Coast, Sennen and St Ives, and cross country from Penzance. Banjo Cottage is just behind the ancient Plein an Gwarry site which makes up St Just’s green centre and on which open air plays are sometimes performed. The area has been designated a World Heritage Site.
Beyond the Cook Book Café is the St Just Art and Crafts Gallery and many more privately owned stores. The town’s interesting shops, range of pubs and cafes, pretty stone cottages and proximity to the beach make it a great base for a Cornish holiday.
The countryside around is some of the best that Britain has to offer. Due west of the town is Cape Cornwall, while the cliff scenery to the north and south is dramatic. Cot Valley is charming and the nearby Lands End aerodrome offers scenic flights and trips to the Isles of Scilly.
The cottage is near great surfing beaches. Sennen Beach (Blue Flag) has white sand and isideal for surfing and swimming. Lifeguards in the summer months, a surf school, surf shop and surfboard/wetsuits etc.hire. Porth Nanven Cove, and Porthcurno, on the south coast, are easily reached. Porthcurno is quite sheltered. has lifeguards and is ideal for swimming.
The Minnack Theatre open air amphitheatre built into the cliffs above the beach stages performances during the summer.Golf at nearby Cape Cornwall Golf Club.
Miles of footpaths criss-cross the area and beautiful stretches of coastal paths take in coves and fishing villages. Walkers may glimpse dolphins, seals and basking sharks.
