Northmoor Lodge is a cosy self catering holiday cottage at the entrance to the Northmoor Estate within the Exmoor National Park. Situated on a quiet country road 2 miles from Dulverton, a small country town with good shops, eating places, pubs, information centre, etc. The lodge is an ideal base for exploring the Park with it's wild deer, ponies and varied landscape. The North Devon coast, with its excellent beaches is only a short drive. away.

Interior
Ground floor: A well equipped kitchen with LPG cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The bathroom, with shower over bath, is off a short hallway with a door to the garden. The dining room next to the kitchen can seat 6 comfortably, and leads on to the lounge with an open fire, colour TV, video, and has a radiogram with LPs. There is full central heating by oil fired boiler controlled with thermostatic valves.
First floor: One double bedroom with king size bed, one twin bedded room and a child's bed built in to an alcove on the landing.
Outside
Although the garden is enclosed, it is not dog proof, but is safe for small children. There is a BBQ and garden furniture.
A quiet country lane runs alongside the garden with views across parkland where it is often possible to catch site of Exmoor's famous Red Deer. The Lodge makes an ideal base for walking, bird watching or generally exploring all the delights that the Exmoor National Park has to offer.

Dulverton is a superb location from which to explore the splendours of Exmoor and glorious beaches of the north Devon coast. The delightful little town of Dulverton's good shops, inns and restaurants are 2 miles. Minehead, a popular resort with sandy beach, Aqua splash swimming pool and West Somerset Steam Railway is 19 miles.
Exmoor
The Exmoor area includes the Exmoor National Park, Lorna Doone country and the Quantock Hills, whilst the Exmoor coast includes the ancient harbour town of Watchet, the seaside resort of Minehead and the historic town of Porlock, not forgetting Lynton and Lynmouth with their magnificent "Valley of the Rocks". Enjoy these peaceful heather-clad moors, deep valleys, dramatic coastline, pretty villages and seaside towns.
The unique and rare breed of Exmoor pony & large herds of red deer freely roam the area. Look up and you will invariably see buzzards soaring overhead. In the evening you can stalk deer, watch bats or seek out badgers at sunset.
