Set in delightful countryside, amidst dramatic scenery, Kilcoy Chalets are located in one of the Highlands of Scotland's most beautiful areas - The Black Isle - a place where you can get away from the crowds.

    Interior
Elm, Rowan, Birch, Beech and Ash Chalets are set in a peaceful garden. Each has a pretty double bedroom, a shower room with WC and an open plan living area/kitchen. The living rooms have comfortable leather reclining chairs, for relaxing at the end of the day, digital satellite TV, a CD\Radio, dining areas and large windows looking out over the gardens. The kitchens have a fridge, cooker, combi-microwave and washing machine\tumble dryer.

Electric heating is provided in all rooms. Electricity by £1 coin meter.  Smoking is not permitted inside but all chalets have seats outside.

Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. Please note the charge of £20 per pet, per week\short break.

    Outside
There is ample space for sitting and picnicking outside. Parking space is provided.

    Local area
Set in delightful countryside on The Black Isle, the chalets are one mile off the A9, ten minutes drive north of Inverness. This pretty city, well known for its floral displays, with many fine stone buildings and the rushing River Ness flowing through its centre, offers a good variety of shops and services, a castle, cathedral and ice rink This Capital of the Highlands is also an excellent touring base with good road, rail and air connections.

The Scottish Highlands have their own unique culture and heritage. A wealth of historic sights to explore includes the nearby Culloden Battlefield. This is where Bonnie Prince Charlie's gallant men were defeated in the last pitched battle on British soil in 1745.

Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness, a magnificent 24- mile stretch of water, legendary home of 'Nessie', is very close at hand, as are Fort George – one of the most outstanding artillery fortifications in Europe, and Cawdor Castle – the most romantic castle in the Highlands.

Remote hills, loch-side beauty spots, blue-hazed mountains with heather-clad foothills, peat brown rivers and sea lochs with rocky shores can all be enjoyed close by. Equally entrancing is the scenic route to Skye, travelling along many single track roads, past some of the oldest hills and mountains in the world.

Golf, fishing, shooting, stalking, watersports and walking are all on hand.
