Enjoying the convenience of the town yet in 10 minutes you can be amidst the stunning scenery of the dales and moors.  Offering numerous places to visit and things to do and see both locally and further afield.  Ravensprings is the ideal base from which to explore Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire..  Leeds City Centre is only 15 mins drive away with all the fun of a major city whist Bronte Country is virtually on your doorstep.  With countryside views from the top floor and pizza delivery at the front door kids love it!

 Accommodation

Ravensprings offers very Comfortable and Spacious Accommodation.  Amongst the stunning internal features there is a grand, period entrance hall and a 34' sitting room with original Victorian mahogany panelling from the great ocean Liner the Mauritania. This huge sitting room is amply furnished for up to 16 guests to congregate and relax in front of the roaring open fire in winter. There is  an elegant dining room seating up to 18 people a lovely room where you can share a meal and memories with friends and family. A well equipped kitchen wit a separate utility room which includes a washing machine, tumble dryer etc.

On the First Floor are 4 double bedrooms including the four poster kingsize bedroom with en suite bathroom with power shower, double ended French bath and WC.   The super king size bedroom; with en suite shower-room with loo. The Edwardian Bedroom with comfy cast iron double bed vanity basin.  The Jacobean Bedroom with a grand antique oak double bed.  There is also a large family bathroom with double power shower, 6ft double ended bath, 2 wash hand basins, WC and Bidet.   The Second Floor from which visitors enjoy delightful distant views of the moors and countryside; there is the Victorian king size bedroom,  A huge, family bedroom with king size circular bed and two single guest beds with sprung pull out beds, enabling this room to sleep 6, children just love it and there are screens for privacy if necessary.  On this floor is an additional large family bathroom. 

Outside is off road parking for up to 4 vehicles, a garden with swings and a trampoline, with seating areas and a barbeque.

local area
There are numerous pubs, restaurants, bars, theatres, galleries, stately homes, petting farms, museums, shops and cinemas to visit in the area.   With a vast array of local sports and activities including, golf (12 courses within 5 miles) horse riding, walking, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking off roading, paint- balling / assault courses, canal boat hire or trips.

Ravensprings’ easy access and central location makes it the ideal place from which to explore Yorkshire. It is close to both Halifax and Huddersfield, only 15 minutes from Leeds City Centre by car, 45 minutes from Manchester City Centre and 30 minutes from the Leeds/Bradford Airport and Manchester International airport. This is an excellent self catering house for guests gathering from across England and further afield via motorways, rail services and local buses.

Yorkshire
Yorkshire is the largest English county, and perhaps the most difficult to generalize about! There is so much diversity in landscape, and such a range of attractions to visit that someone's favourite bit is sure to be left out!

In under an hours drive, The magnificent York Minster draws most visitors to York, but once you've explored the church and marveled at the magnificent medieval stained glass, its time to walk the city walls - see if you can spot the remaining Roman parts of the walls - or visit one of the medieval buildings of which York is justifiably proud.  Harrogate with it's spa, and World Famous Betty's Tearooms and numerous shops and restaurants and of course Harewood house.
